| Since 1987, United Way of Hernando County has partnered with organizations and businesses that share a vision of improving lives by working together. Our support for long-term commitments are essential to addressing key social issues, such as helping children, youth, adults & elders, encouraging health and wellness, including physical and emotional care, promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency, and crisis intervention. United Way’s initiatives are HEALTH, EDUCATION, FINANCIAL STABILITY AND BASIC NEEDS/CRISIS PREVENTION. Within these initiatives we strategically invest in focus area with proven outcomes and results.
United Way of Hernando County takes pride of the role we play as a lead organization, guiding residents, agencies, and corporate partners on a path to success despite their personal and professional barriers. We are more than a fundraiser, we are the hand-raisers, and game changers within our community. United Way promotes supporters to LIVE UNITED through GIVING, ADVOCATING, AND VOLUNTEERING.
