Here are the results from our Campaign in Meriden and Wallingford . . .
- Supporting VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) where IRS-certified volunteers offer free tax help to working individuals
1,261 individuals and families utilized VITA with combined refunds totaling $1,741,896 which is a 1.86 percent increase
- Expanding opportunities for non-emergency medical transport for our older adults
The program anticipated 10 rides per month, but reported over 30 rides per month
- Providing programs for people in crisis as well as effective programs to prevent that crisis in the first place
Project REACH is the only youth shelter for Meriden and Wallingford youth – 329 youth served |
