| The Heartland United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability for every person in every community. We partner with 21 community organizations to change community conditions in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties. Last year, our community partners served 15,000 individuals by providing them with a range of services, programs and resources. The agencies work together with us to improve the core issues of education, income and health. A variety of services are offered through our partner agencies including free medical and dental health care, emergency shelter and assistance, free education courses, mentoring programs for children, legal aid for children and immigrants, support for veterans and their families, food and clothing assistance and much more!
In addition to our 21 community partners, the Heartland United Way work closely with a variety of other community organizations to accomplish our mission of advancing the common good and creating opportunities for everyone. We often join forces with non-partnering agencies to combine efforts on important issues that affect our community every day.
