The mission of the United Way of Broome County is to drive change that will have a positive impact on the critical needs of our community by strategically leveraging the collective resources of community partners. Our focus is on three basic building blocks for a good quality of life: Education (helping children and youth achieve their potential); Income (helping families and individuals meet basic needs and obtain financial stability); and Health (helping members of our community lead healthy lives). Our effort is to create lasting changes that prevent problems from standing in the way of a good life for residents of our community.
