The Shelby County United Way's mission is to identify, evaluate, and make possible the human services in Shelby County. We provide funding for partner social service agencies as well as special project grants to non-member agency nonprofit organizations. Funding is provided in the Impact Areas of Investing in Children and Youth, Strengthening Families and Individuals, Promoting Health and Well Being, Enriching the Lives of Seniors, and Caring for People in Crisis. In addition, we act as an Information and Referral hub for social services in Shelby County.
