| United Way of Adams County is committed to making a difference in our communities. UWAC brings together donors, human services, business, government, volunteers, and other stakeholders to identify critical issues in Education, Income and Health, raise funds and other resources, partner with service providers, and measure the impact on communities.
UWAC supports 9 partner programs and four initiatives: Ready to Learn, a county wide collaborative promoting quality early education and care; Volunteer Center, connecting people with volunteer service opportunities at family-friendly events and individual and group volunteer opportunities; A Woman's Purse, our women's initiative that supports Adams County Children and Youth Services' Independent Living Program for young people transitioning from foster care to independence; and VITA Tax Preparation Assistance Program. |
