Working to improve the lives of families in Rockbridge County, Lexington, and Buena Vista, Virginia.&; Giving to United Way of Rockbridge (UWR) ensures that your gift will have the most impact in your community and will fund Community Impact projects in the area of early childhood literacy and over 18service agency programs.  Agencies and projects are reviewed by community members and all funding decisions and money is spent locally.  By combining your gift with other local donors,  United Way is able to achieve long term change in improving people's lives. Donations can be designated to specific projects or agencies and are disbursed on a calendar year basis.
